Pokemon GO upgrade items (Click on Technetbloggers) and Components

A specific item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be put in weapons, armor trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to increase their item upgrade level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.

Upgrade components

Infusions are able to be used on legendary and non-amulet items, and enrichments can be used on some back equipment that is ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their names on the hover display of the item upgrader kit while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their name to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures and fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and view these special characters as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes, as well being trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph gives a character boost in primary stats. It also has up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by additional bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will display a window with the Glyphs available to you. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item upgrader kit you have selected. Every weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has its own collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be improved through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a Glyph is leveled up to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also increase the number of nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and this is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled, so they're worth looking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further by choosing an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling
